माळेगाव (बु).
माळेगाव बुद्रूक नगरपंचायतीची स्थापना 30 मार्च 2021 रोजी नव्याने करण्यात आलेली आहे. पुणे जिल्ह्यातील बारामती तालुक्यात असणारी ही नगरपंचायत बारामती पासुन 5 कि.मी अंतरावर तर पुणे शहरापासून 80 कि.मी अंतरावर आहे. 2011 च्या जनगणनेनुसार 21,284 लोकसंख्या या शहराची आहे. शेती, रहिवासी, औद्योगिक व शैक्षणिक केंद्रे असणाऱ्या शहराचे भौगोलिक क्षेत्र 1854.47 हेक्टर इतके आहे.
माळेगाव बु. शहराला पुर्वीपासुन ऐतिहासिक वारसा आहे. लखुजी जाधवराव व धनाजी जाधवराव यांचे वंशजाना त्यांनी त्यावेळी केलेल्या कामगिरीबाबत सन 1732 मध्ये माळेगाव बु. हे गाव वतन म्हणून दिले असल्याबाबत सांगितले जाते. शहरामध्ये सन 1865 मध्ये बांधलेली ऐतिहासिक वेस आजही जतन केलेली आहे. नागेश्वर मंदिर, काशी विश्वेश्वर मंदिर, भवानीशंकर मंदिर, बाणेश्वर मंदिर ही तत्कालीन मंदिरे आजही सुस्थित असुन ऐतिहासिक पार्श्वभूमीची साक्ष देतात.
ऐतिहासिक काळापासून सुरू असलेल्या पीरराजेबागसवार दर्गा आस्तित्वात असुन आजही दरवर्षी मार्च महिन्यात ऊरूस भरण्याची प्रथा चालू आहे. ऐतिहासिक ब्रिटीश काळात सन 1935 च्या सुमारास बांधलेला नीरा डावा कालवा या शहराचा पाण्यासाठी मुख्य स्त्रोत आहे.
